Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Larissa Gonchar Principal

Merry Christmas COA Families,

We are living in the most strange and difficult time of our lifetimes. Even in these uncertain times, I would like to express my deepest appreciation for you, our wonderful families. We are so grateful for you this time of year. Having families like you in our school is the best Christmas gift we could ever ask for here at COA. You are a blessing to us, especially at Christmas.

We want to make the Christmas season special for our students, even in the middle of a pandemic. On Friday, the 18th of December, we will have a Christmas Drive Through Celebration at our Pavilion Site between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Our Administrative Team will dress up as Santa Claus and his helpers to give out small tokens of appreciation to all of our students. The Pavilion Site is located at 5640 Dudley Blvd. McClellan, CA 95652. This special event is made possible by one of our very own parents, Tim Cook, who manages a local Sam’s Club. We received some supplies that we are able to gift to our amazing students and we are so grateful for our Sam’s Club partnership and the eagerness of Mr. Cook to help make the holidays special for us and our families.

With the ever-changing regulations and precautions made by the Sacramento County Department of Health, we will be opening in limited phases in January, 2021. Students that are identified as struggling in academics and those of low English language will be receiving letters in December with information when they will be welcomed back on campus. If your child falls into this category, you will receive a letter no later than January 19th 2021, provided no other major changes in Health Department.

I am so grateful to our staff members, students, and parents during this time of year, and all year long. Your flexibility and patience are truly gifts which are so appreciated by our school and district. You are the reason for our school’s success. I wish you all a wonderful and special Christmas and pray for blessings for you and your families during the most wonderful time of the year. May the peace and joy of the Christmas Season surround you and your loved ones. May the New 2021 Year bring you more joy and happiness than ever before.
