I had the wonderful privilege to be one of the judges for the Spelling Bee this year, so I had a front row seat to all the excitement! The entire event was a great success, but a few things stood out to me. I loved being able to watch the competing students in the spotlight and see their wheels turning - some of them would pause for quite a while… and just when you’d think they might be done, they’d come out with every letter in the right order!
It was quite amazing! I also loved seeing the support students showed for their peers; several audience members showed up with decorated posters cheering their classmates on. It was an awesome event, and I already can’t wait for next year!
