2018 COA MATH COMPET ITION WINNERS!
We were excited to host our Annual Math Competition during the month of January! This year, we decided to do it during school hours; we wanted to have as many students in attendance as possible, so they can all root for their classmates as well as get inspired to practice their math skills and participate in next year’s competition. One student from each class in grades two through six was chosen to participate based on their math scores and their ability to solve problems quickly. The competition was exciting for all students involved as the problems the competitors were giv- en were also displayed on the screen behind them for the audience to try solve from their seats. Thank you to the many parents who came during school hours to watch their children participate. We know it was a sacrifice to take time from your busy schedules, but we also know that it meant the world for you children to have you there! Thank you! Congratulations to all the participants for being chosen to compete and congratulations to all the winners of this year’s Math Competition! We hope to see some of you back again next year along with some new faces as well!
