I am so happy to be a part of the RSP (Resource Specialized Program) team this year. As an education specialist it is my job to support students, parents, and teachers to ensure kids reach their personal best. Through my education I have learned many strategies and resources that can help all kinds of needs that will help access curriculum and manage behavior. I grew up in the area and graduated from Oakmont High School in Roseville. I attended Humboldt State University and earned a B.A. in Social Science. I then worked towards a multiple subjects teaching credential. And then, I went back and earned a second teaching credential and master’s degree in special education from National University. I have worked with various grades and abilities over the past several years. I have a lovely family with two amazing sons and have been married over 25 years to a hard working and caring husband. My role as an educator is to guide my students toward progress on their academic goals and teach skills to be confident citizens in our 21st century global community. I am a lifelong learner and hope to encourage that love of learning in my students.
