I was born and raised in the greater Sacramento area and graduated from Sheldon High School in 2002. After playing soccer and track and field in high school, I attended California State University at Long Beach to earn my degree in Kinesiology. While in college I played soccer and discovered rugby. I played at an elite level both in college and professionally and upon returning to Sacramento I now coach Christian Brother’s Rugby Club which is second in the nation.
I earned my credential from California State University at Sacramento in Physical Education and love what I do. My passion is to be active and to teach students a variety of sports and skills that will enable them to be better movers. My biggest goal is to help students be life long movers and not to be sedate. I hope this school embraces physical education as I have and understand its importance both here at school and at home. As I said earlier I was born and raised here in Sacramento, Rancho Murieta to be exact.
I love sports and could watch soccer, golf and rugby all day. My hobbies outside of teaching include reading, cars and music. My wife and I are both teachers and we have a passion for what we do. We are both active people and love helping others and we take pride in our lives. We have been married since June 13, 2009 and love it so far. In my personal live, I love cars and everything about them. I show my Chevy Chevelle at a lot of car shows in the area and it has been pretty well publicized in various internet sites and a few magazines. I also race cars on weekends and have been doing that since I was 16. My father and I both enjoy weekends together doing these things and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
All in all I have the perfect live and being the newest addition here has made everything I wished for come true. I am always around and available for any questions you may have for me and I am always willing to help out. Thank you for allowing me to teach here and I will do everything I can to meet the needs of these students.
