BACK-TO SCHOOL NIGHT - Thursday, 4:30 p.m. (September 9, 2010)
As we are soon approaching the start of the 2010 school year, I would like to welcome visitors, parents and staff to our website. Wow! In my third year now as principal of the school, I am Mr. Khan. As many of your know, we are a Public Charter School program that serves 7th-8th grade students, situated on the Futures campus in North Highlands. As part of our larger charter organization, Gateway Community Charters, we have continued to provide educational options for students in various grade levels. We are proud of our program and of what we have accomplished in a short time. Congratulations to all of our teachers, staff and parents as we have received a 6 year Western Area Schools and Colleges (WASC) accredition for our entire k-8 program! Together with our COA elementary school colleagues, we will serve around 1200 students this year. Welcome to our website, and welcome to our school.
