Educational philosophy: Excellence in education is when we do everything that we can to make sure they become everything that they can.

In my position I am providing instructional assistance to individuals or groups of students in the High Point program (ELD support), which offers standards-based instruction in reading and language arts.  The program is designed for English learners and struggling readers to accelerate their growth in language and literacy.

*I work with students academically to set goals and help students achieve their English Support goals.
*I also confer with teachers concerning programs and materials to meet the individual needs of assigned students.
*I work with two other groups as well, providing small group instruction with vocabulary and English Language Development and skills.
